MCIA promotes mutual understanding, respect, and acceptance between people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities.
Our association was formed in 2020 with a vision of promoting relationships and understanding of different cultures in Western Australia and sharing the beauty of our state with the world.
Our membership comprises individuals from Face WA, as well as associations representing diverse ethnic, cultural, welfare and corporate groups across Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Philippines, India, the Middle East, Europe, and Australia.
We are a not-for-profit organisation and have been providing a range of services free of charge or at a low and heavily subsidised rate on functions held to promote our members of all ages since our inception.

MCIA encourages its members to achieve their personal and professional goals through Face WA and pageantry, providing an opportunity to embrace their Australian and multicultural heritage and to allow their inner and outer beauty to shine. Our events are designed to foster new relationships and understanding of different cultures through pageantry, and our goal is to empower men and women of all ages.

MCIA's mission is to provide a platform for individuals and associations representing diverse ethnic, cultural, welfare, and corporate groups to come together and share their experiences, knowledge, and ideas.
The organization provides a range of services that are not available from any government organization, including social, cultural, educational, and training programs that help people from diverse backgrounds integrate into Australian society.

MCIA has a strong focus on providing training to migrants to help them gain confidence and enter the workforce. The organization also provides a range of support services to help people settle into their new community, including language classes, community events, and cultural exchanges.

In addition to its focus on promoting multicultural integration, MCIA also works closely with member associations to provide referrals for its programs. The organization is committed to expanding the range of services it provides for its members and the larger community, with a focus on deep foresight, leadership, and governance for future growth.
